Following a Formula 1 weekend with IPTV

A race weekend is three days of sessions at awkward hours. Here is who holds the UK rights, what an IPTV player adds to the picture and how to rehearse before lights out.

Formula 1 on UK television

The rights picture is simple for now.

  • Sky holds it

Sky shows Formula 1 in the UK, with the deal running to 2034.

  • Plan around the sessions

Practice, qualifying and the race land at different times each weekend, so check the calendar rather than assuming.

  • Test before the start

Open the app a good while before the session begins so updates or sign-in problems are out of the way.

Based on public sources from September 2026. Rights change between seasons, so check the broadcaster's own site for the current position.

IPTV in plain terms

IPTV delivers television through your internet connection instead of a dish or cable. You need a connection, a screen and a player app. After that it takes three steps.

  1. 1

    Test it for 24 hours

Ask for the free trial. No payment details are needed, and it runs a full day on your own device.

  2. 2

    Install a player

Pick an IPTV player app for your device and enter the login we send. Support will help if you get stuck.

  3. 3

    Choose how long to stay

Like it? Pick one, three, six or twelve months. Everyone gets the same package.

What is in the one package

The channel list contains channel groups from the broadcasters named above, alongside many other countries. That is a description of what you can browse, not a statement of who holds the rights, and the line-up changes. Use the 24-hour trial to look for the channel you need.

  • +50,000 channels

From the UK, Ireland and dozens of other countries, with a TV guide.

  • +200,000 films and series

On demand, for the evenings with no match.

  • 4K, Full HD, HD and SD

Which quality you get depends on the source and your connection.

  • 100+ servers

Load is shared across many servers, with automatic failover if one drops.

  • 24/7 support

WhatsApp, email and live chat, whichever suits you.

  • Your own devices

Smart TV, Fire TV Stick, Android, Apple TV, phones, tablets and computers.

Before the lights go out

When a big match starts, a lot of people connect in the same minute. The network side is our job. These habits cover yours:

  1. Use a network cable between the router and your TV or stick if you can.
  2. Open the app early, so updates and logins are done before kick-off.
  3. Pause large downloads on other devices while you watch.
  4. Drop to a lower picture quality if your connection is marginal.

Is IPTV right for you?

It suits you if

  • Formula 1 is one of several things you watch and you want one app for all of it.
  • You travel, or you watch on more than one screen across the household.
  • You would rather test on a real race weekend than read a promise.

It may not suit you if

  • Formula 1 is all you watch. Sky itself is the direct route and holds the rights.
  • Your internet connection is slow or unreliable. As a guide, 15 Mbps is enough for Full HD and 25 Mbps for 4K.
  • You would rather not install a player app, even with help.

One package, four durations

There are no tiers. The package is the same for everyone, and only the length changes. A year works out at €6.67 a month.
