Thinking about leaving Atlas Pro? This practical guide walks you through the switch: what to note down first, which apps keep working, how to set up your new service on every device and what to check in your first week.

Switching from Atlas Pro to a new IPTV provider

Changing IPTV provider sounds like more work than it is. If you're currently using Atlas Pro, often through its own Atlas Pro ONTV app, and you're thinking about moving, the good news is that you don't need new hardware and you usually don't even need a new app. What you need is a plan, so nothing gets lost and you never end up with a blank screen on match night.

This guide is written for people who have already decided to look elsewhere and want to do it properly. It won't tell you what is wrong with Atlas Pro. It shows you how to move, step by step, whichever provider you end up choosing.

Before you switch: write down what you actually use

Most people only watch a small part of what their subscription offers. Before you move, spend five minutes writing down:

  • Your ten most-watched channels, including the language or country version.
  • The sports you follow, such as specific leagues, tournaments or motor racing.
  • The devices in your home: Smart TV brand, Fire TV Stick, Android box, Apple TV, phone or tablet.
  • How many screens are used at the same time on a busy evening.
  • The features you rely on, for example the TV guide, catch-up or series.

This list is your test script. When you try a new provider, you check it against your list, not against a big number in an advert.

Step 1: Check whether your current app can stay

If you use Atlas Pro ONTV, that app is tied to its own service. The easiest route is to move to a general IPTV player that works with any provider through Xtream Codes or an M3U link. Popular choices are:

  • TiviMate on Android TV, Fire TV and Android boxes.
  • IPTV Smarters Pro on almost every platform, including iPhone and iPad.
  • IBO Player or Smart IPTV on Samsung and LG Smart TVs.
  • OTT Navigator if you like fine control over layout and the TV guide.
  • MyTVOnline if you own a Formuler box.

Install your chosen player before you start the trial, so you don't lose time on the day itself.

Step 2: Start a trial, not a subscription

Ask your new provider for a free trial and plan it for a busy evening, ideally one with a big match. During the trial:

  1. Add the new login as a second playlist, so your current service keeps working.
  2. Open every channel on your list from the preparation step.
  3. Check that the TV guide (EPG) fills in correctly.
  4. Try catch-up or on-demand if you use it.
  5. Send support a question and note how quickly and clearly they answer.

Step 3: Set up every device

Once the trial convinces you, set up the service on each screen. With Xtream Codes you enter three things: the server address, your username and your password. With M3U you paste a single link. Do it once per device and check that the TV guide loads on each one. Two tips:

  • Use a cable for the main TV if you can. Wired connections are far more stable for live sport than Wi-Fi.
  • Hide channel groups you never watch. A shorter list loads faster and is easier to zap through.

Step 4: Pay safely and choose the right term

Only choose a subscription length once you've tested. A monthly plan is fine to start with; a yearly plan usually works out cheaper once you're sure. Pay through a method that gives you a clear receipt, and keep the welcome email with your login details somewhere safe.

Step 5: Your first week

The first week tells you more than the trial. Keep an eye on:

  • Weekend evenings, when networks are busiest.
  • The TV guide, which should stay filled a few days ahead.
  • Support, if anything comes up.

Only when the new service has proved itself should you let your old subscription expire.

Common questions

Will I lose my favourites?

Favourites are stored in the app, linked to a playlist, so they don't move automatically. Your list from the preparation step makes it quick to rebuild them, usually in a few minutes.

Can I keep my Smart TV or box?

Yes. A provider change only means new login details. Your TV, stick or box stays exactly the same.

Is it a problem to run two services at the same time?

No. Running both for a few days is the safest way to switch, because you always have something to fall back on.
