How to set up IPTV on an Amazon Fire TV Stick

A five-minute walkthrough: install a player, enter your subscription details and get every channel onto your TV.

The Fire TV Stick is the cheapest way to turn any television with an HDMI port into a full streaming device. This guide covers the whole setup, from installing a player to loading your channel list.

Before you start

  • A Fire TV Stick, plugged in and connected to your Wi-Fi
  • Your Devora TV subscription details, sent by email after payment
  • A connection of at least 15 Mbps for Full HD, or 25 Mbps for 4K

Installing a player

Fire OS does not ship with an IPTV player, so the first step is installing one from the Amazon Appstore. Search for your preferred player, install it, and open it once so it can finish setting itself up.

If the app asks for a portal URL rather than a username, you want the M3U option instead. Both are in your welcome email.

Entering your details

Add a new playlist, paste the URL from your welcome email, and give it a name. The player downloads the channel list, which takes about thirty seconds the first time. After that it caches locally and opens instantly.

If the list does not load

Nine times out of ten this is a typo in the pasted URL. Copy it again, making sure no trailing space came along. If it still fails, message support and we will check the account from our side.
